Harriet Gosling | 24th March - 15th April

Harriet Gosling trained for three years (1986-89) at Studio Cecil-Graves, Florence, Italy. Here Harriet studied and practiced the traditional classical "Sight-Size" technique used by the Old Masters. A year was spent perfecting skills in charcoal and pencil and the subtleties of "chiaroscuro" (light and shade) before progressing to oils. Since returning to England, Harriet has spent most of her time working on commissioned portraits and still-life.
We are thrilled to be exhibiting Harriet's first solo show this spring!
