The Portscatho Art Society was formed 20 years ago. It was started by myself and Lynn Golden in order to be able to exhibit and work alongside a variety of other artists from the West Country. This artistic collaboration has evolved over the years and our group has become known nationally for its variety of styles and personalities.
We are grateful to The Osborne Studio Gallery for helping us celebrate our twentieth anniversary and introducing our work to a wider public.

The Portscatho Art Society is all about working together 'on location' and in studios, enjoying discussions and confirmations of artistic struggles, goals and friendships.
Lynn Golden
The association of The Osborne Studio Galley with the Portscatho painters goes back over 10 years. Whilst the subject matter of their paintings has always been immensely varied, their work conveys a streak of mutual understanding and a response to nature which unites the artists and gives this flourishing art society its raison d'étre.
The Osborne Studio Gallery is delighted to be hosting this 20th Anniversary exhibition and we have little doubt that it will prove a worthy successor to their last outstanding show with us in April 2000.
