Foreword

This exhibition features work by five highly regarded international artists to celebrate the Osborne Studio Gallery's 25th birthday.

Over the years, the gallery has represented all of these artists and we are delighted to include each of them in what for us is a significant landmark.

I would like to pay a special tribute to Jonathan Trowell whose work we first featured in our second exhibition in June 1986. He has become very much a part of our history, a good friend as well as being highly respected by fellow artists and clients alike - not an easy accolade to achieve.

The quartet of Mao Wen Biao, Claudio Carli and Valeriy and Katya Gridnev each represent the international language of art. Whenever and wherever their work is shown it is the three ingredients; quality, originality, emotion and atmosphere which make their works enormously desirable. We are proud to be uniting this academic and acclaimed group of artists.

The gallery looks forward to welcoming you to this special anniversary of ours.
