Frippy Jameson

Frippy Jameson

Living and working from Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders, Frippy is a remarkably talented horse sculptor. Her work exposes the relationship between fragility, strength and calm. Frippy’s particular interest and observation is directed towards the end of the day, at rest or just waiting. Paying significant attention to the Cavalry horseman, she captures the magnificence of their noble character, as well as the delicacy and detail of her subject, resulting in a celebration of craftsmanship. We are delighted to represent this outstanding exponent of equestrian sculpture.

‘Frippy has a reputation of some enormity within the Scottish Borders community, but deserves wider recognition that is starting to grow of its own accord – driven by an extraordinary natural talent. Her bronze work is intuitive, compelling and exudes the gravitas of an artist who is confident and able to create enduringly beautiful sculptures that simply speak for themselves’.
