Estelle Jourd
Estelle Jourd's paintings are landscapes and seascapes inspired by the North Kent coast where she has lived for most of her life. She works in oil on canvas or wood, gradually building up layer upon layer of paint, the finished piece containing a history of marks, colour and texture.
As well as painting, Estelle makes and exhibits sculpture and installations
in many different man-made and natural mediums.
